Alcohol had taken everything I had; my relationships, my job, my home, my car and most heartbreaking of all my children.

I lost the will to fight and I became suicidal, I was exhausted with the same old tiresome cycle that addiction brings. I felt like there was no hope or way out of the mess I was in – until I heard about Teen Challenge Benaiah.

I made my way to the centre and started the programme. It wasn’t always easy, I had some really tough times and times where I felt like giving up but thanks to the amazing staff I completed the programme and honestly, I would do it all again for the freedom I now have.

My days look so different now but even on the toughest days, I have faith and hope for the future. I have my daughters back in my life and we are building a beautiful life together. I recently got to help on a mission trip to Barcelona. I take nothing for granted.

If you are struggling in addiction and feel like no one understands you, there ARE people who understand. There are people who have come through and conquered what you currently face, no one is so broken and beyond help. There is always hope.

I am so thankful for how God turned my life around and the amazing staff at Benaiah for showing me God’s love.
