If you’re interested in fundraising for us, we’d love to hear from you. Simply contact us on 01651 891627 or info@tcns.org.uk and we can chat through your idea.
Previously, supporters have carried out a range of fundraising activities– including sky dives, shark dives, homeless sleep outs and cycle challenges – to raise funds to help us help men and women out of the misery of addiction.
Check out two of our fundraising heroes below:
Glenda Burton
Glenda raised an amazing £1,557 for Teen Challenge North East Scotland by completing the Edinburgh Marathon.
“I know the devastating impact addictions can have on your own life and your family and friend’s lives. I had been keen to run a full marathon for a few years and I thought what better reason to do it than for a charity that is close to my heart.”
Joel Selfridge
Joel completed the Cape Wrath Trail – a 230-mile trek across some of Scotland’s roughest mountains and terrain – to raise £1,642 for our work.
“Having saw many testimonies of people who’ve had their lives radically transformed by God from heroin and alcohol addiction to fully functioning working family men and women, I’ve always had tremendous respect for Sunnybrae and Benaiah.”
Celebrate Aberdeen Award
We won a prestigious charity award for our fundraising.
We were recognised for our mammoth Buy Benaiah campaign – which saw us raise money to purchase £535,000 women’s addiction recovery refuge, Benaiah – at the 2018 Celebrate Aberdeen Awards.
Buy Benaiah was named ‘Best Fundraising Campaign Of The Year’ at the ceremony, which was organised to shine a light on organisations and people who make a difference in the community though working for the benefits of others.
